MY EVENING SKINCARE ROUTINE

Since our skincare routines are very important for our skin to look good, especially evening skincare routine, because that's when our cells repair and rebuild, I decided to let you know how I take care of my skin in the evenings and what products I use to do that.

Firstly, I always remove my make-up at the end of the day. For that I use the Bioderma micellar water for combination/oily skin. I soak two cotton pads with the Bioderma and then remove my eye make-up and then I take a new soaked cotton pad to remove the rest of my make-up.

After removing my make-up, I use the cleansing gel by Germaine De Capuccini to cleanse my face and to get rid of any make-up that might still be on my face.

Now, that I've cleansed my face I need something to help me get rid of the imperfections on my face. For that I use the exfoliating fluid by Germaine De Cappucini, this removes dead cells from the surface of the skin. It also exfoliates, purifies and minimises the appearance of the pores. I mostly use this on my zits to dry them out. If I use this on a larger area of my face I use a cotton pad to do it, but if I only have to use it on a few spots, then I just apply it with my finger.

To moisturize my skin I use the hydrating cream by Germaine De Cappuccini. I apply this on my face and also my neck. This is the best face cream I've ever used, it moisturizes the dry areas on my face, but at the same time it isn't too moisturizing for the oily areas, it balances my combination skin out very well. I also love the smell of this cream, it smells very clean and fresh, but don't worry, the scent isn't too overwhelming.

Under my eyes I use the reduction gel by Planter's. It has a metal applicator, so it's great for those who have puffy eyes. It claims to reduce the darkness under the eyes, but I really haven't seen the difference. Nevertheless, I really like this eye gel, because it dries very quickly.

To keep my lips moisturized at night I use any lip balm I have at the moment. Right now I'm using the baby lips by Maybelline. This lip balm has a great scent and it's quite moisturizing, but I have to say that if your lips are cracked then you need a more moisturizing lip balm than this.

Once a week I try to use a facial mask to really cleanse my skin, although I usually use it once a month. I use a clay mask by The Body Shop, this removes any dirt or oil from the pores. I wouldn't recommend to use it on your whole face if you have normal or dry skin because it dries out the skin. So, if you have a normal skin, just use this on the areas, where you have pores or spots, usually it's the T-zone.

So these are the products I currently like to use to take care of my skin in the evening. I try not to use too many products, because I usually don't like to spend too much time on taking care of my skin in the evening.

ANOTHER BEAUTY HAUL

Oh well, I'm writing anther haul, what a surprise! I promise, I'll do more different posts as well. Last month, I visited Barcelona and bought a few things from there, because make-up was much cheaper there, than in Estonia. So. let's get started.

PINK by Victoria's Secret ''Wild at Heart'' and ''Warm & Cozy'' body mist

These body mists smell great and they're also with conditioning aloe. So, if you don't have time to use body lotion you can just spray this onto your skin and it'll do the job. Obviously it's not as moisturizing as a body lotion, but it's great if you don't have time to wait for the lotion to absorb into your skin. In my opinion, Wild at Heart smells quite fresh and Warm & Cozy smells sweeter, but it's not overwhelmingly sweet.

Merci Handy Cherie Cherry

This is a hand cleansing gel, I've had similar products before, but they often leave my hands quite sticky. This one leaves my hands clean and soft and it smells amazing. It's very small(30ml), which makes it great for carrying it in my purse.

Essie Fiji

I love nail polishes by Essie, because they have an amazing colour range. Fiji is a light pink pastel colour and it's problably more suitable for summer and spring, but I'll wear it all year long anyway, because this color is just so beautiful.

MAC Retro Matte lipstick in Ruby Woo and Glaze in Hue

I finally bought my first lipsticks from MAC Cosmetics, I've had my eye on these for a while now and decided to buy two. Ruby Woo is a gorgeous deep red lipstick, it has a matte finish, but it's not dry on the lips, it's acutally quite moisturizing. Hue, on my lips, is light pink and has a slightly glossy finish. I love these lipsticks and can't wait to try out some other colours from MAC as well.

Maybelline Color Elixir Liquid Lip Color in Signature Scarlet(505)

I bought this thinking I could wear it on it's own, but I problably won't. This is a red lip color, that has a slight orange undertone to it. I don't like the colour on it's own, but I think I'll use it as a lip gloss on top of my Rimmel Kate Moss lipstick in 111. Otherwise, it's a great product and I definitely don't regret buying it.

Maybelline Color Sensational Lipstick in Coffee Craze(740)

This lipstick has such an amazing scent, although I think this scent is not for everybody, so before buying it definitely smell it. The lipstick itself is very glossy and moisturizing, also it's very well pigmented. The color of the lipstick is dark brown, I think it's definitely not a color to wear to school or work(depending on where you work, ofcourse).

Maybelline Brow Drama Sculpting Brow Mascara

I'm obsessed with this product, I've already bought the slightly tinted one two times and now I thought I'd buy a transparent one, too. This is a great product, because it takes absolutely no effort, it's so easy to use and barely takes any time to apply it. I bought the transparent one, because when I use eyeshadow to fill in my brows, I don't really need to add any more color to my brows, but I still want them to stay in place.

Maybelline Instant Age Rewind Concealer

I've already talked about this product in my previous blog posts, so I'm not going to go into detail with this product. It's my favourite concealer and it surely won't take me long to use this one up.

That's all the beauty products I purchased from Spain, there weren't that many products, but I really like all of them and will definitely use all of the products.

What would you like to read about in my next blog post? Let me know in the comments!

SEPTEMBER FAVOURITES

September is finally over, so I thought I would do a blog post that features what products I was loving in September. There are so many products I could have included in this blog post, but I narrowed it down to eight products. Here they are:

Lumene Mattifying & Pore Minimizing Primer

This is a mattigying primer for oily to combination skin and I absolutely love it! I apply this over my moisturizer and it absorbs the oils on my face and mattifies my skin instantly. It makes my skin so smooth and it makes applying foundation so much easier. Also, it helps my make-up stay in place longer.

Maybelline Color Tattoo in On and On Bronze

This is a gorgeous bronze cream eyeshadow, it's long-lasting and the color is quite intense. The easisest way to apply it is with your fingers and I apply this all over my lid. It looks beautiful on it's own, but if I have more time I like to highlight my brow bone and the inner corner of my eye, I would also add a dark brown eyeshadow in my crease.

Too Faced Better Than Sex Mascara and L'Oreal Volume Million Lashes Excess Mascara

This month I have been loving the combination of these two mascaras. Firstly I apply the Too Faced mascara to give my lashes volume and then I use the L'Oreal mascara to lenghten and seperate my eyelashes. I like using them seperately, but I think they work better if I'm using both of them.

Maybelline Color Elixir Liquid Lip Color in Caramel Infused(725) and NYX Butter Lip Gloss in Tiramisu

These products are quite similar and are both straight up my alley. Both of these products are very moisturising and easy to use. They're both very glossy, but the NYX Butter Gloss is not sticky at all, but the Maybelline one is slightly sticky. The colors are quite similar, but the Maybelline lip color is darker in color. Oh, and the NYX lip gloss smells so amazing!

Invisibobble

Invisibobble is basically a traceless hair ring. I bought this, because it doesn't leave a kink in your hair and it really doesn't. It annoys me when I straighten my hair and have to wash my face or something like that and have to tie my hair back and it leaves a strange kink(wave) in my hair. With the invisibobble, it doesn't leave that wave in my hair.

Tangle Teezer Compact Styler

I love Tangle Teezer brushes so much, I don't think I'll ever buy a normal hairbrush again. The Tangle Teezer fits into your hand perfectly and it doesn't hurt when I brush the tangles out of my hair. In August I decided to buy the compact styler, because it's smaller, which makes it better to carry it around. It's gold, which is a huge plus for me and it also has a removable cover to protect the teeth from fluff and dirt.

These were my favourite and most used products in September. What were yours? Let me know in the comments below.

SEPHORA HAUL

Hi everybody!

When I was in Rome, I also visited Sephora and bought a few things from there. There are also some products that I didn't buy from Sephora, but I thought I would add them here anyway. Most of these products have already become my favourites. Anyway, onto my purchases.

SKIN-CARE:

Sephora Moisturizing Hand Cream in Lagoon, Monoi and Mango

I love these hand creams, I bought one from France last year and regretted not buying more. These hand creams are so moisturizing, but they don't feel your hands feeling greasy. They absorb very quickly and smell absolutely amazing! This time I bought three of these. Lagoon has a very fresh scent and monoi and mango have quite a sweet scent.

Sephora Creamy Body Wash in Lagoon and Monoi

These body washes are great, because they don't dry out the skin, like some other body washes. And most importantly they smell so good!

MAKE-UP

The Beauty Blender Sponge

I finally got my hands on the famous Beauty Blender. It makes applying foundation and concealer so easy. It gives kind of an airbrushed finish and doesn't leave your foundation cakey. Before, I used the Real Techniques sponge, which is a good dupe for the Beauty Blender if you're on a budget, but I would recommend buying the Beauty Blender for a few simple reasons. The Beauty Blender is smaller, so it's easier to apply foundation to your under-eye area. Also, I've used my Real Techniques sponge for about two months and it's already broken. So, if you're someone who uses foundation or concealer daily, I would recommend buying the original Beauty Blender.

L'Occitane Sublime Beauty Cream

This is one of the products that I didn't buy from Sephora. I bought this before going to Rome, simply because it has SPF30. I was looking for a foundation or bb cream that would have SPF 30 and this is the only one that I could find. Fortunately, this is a great bb cream, it dries to matte finish, so I don't even have to put any powder on top of it. It also smells nice and is very easy to blend with your fingers.

Too Faced Dark Chocolate Soleil Bronzer

First of all, how amazing is the fact that this bronzer smells like chocolate?! The packaging is so beautiful and the product inside is amazing. This bronzer is so pigmented, you only need a little bit when applying it. This is definitely the best bronzer I've ever used, I highly recommend it!

Too Faced Better Than Sex Mascara

I've heard so many people talking about how great this mascara is, so I decided to try it. I have to say that I really like it, it makes my eyelashes very voluminous. I wouldn't recommend this to people who have very oily skin, because it smudges quite easily.

Benefit Erase Paste

I bought this, because I needed a full coverage concealer. This concealer is thick and sticky, so it covers practically anything. Because it's so thick, you have to use the tiniest amount on blemishes. The only downside to this product is that it only comes in three shades. I bought the lightest one and it's still a little bit darker, than I would have wanted. But overall I love this product.

There was a very friendly woman at the Benefit counter, who gave me a free sample of the Benefit Lollibalm. It's a tinted hydrating lip balm, I've tried it once and I really liked it, but I problably won't purchase it in full size.

Marc Jacobs Twinkle Pop in Volver

I really wanted to try something from Marc Jacobs cosmetics and decided to try the Twinkle Pop. It's basically an eyeshadow stick. The packaging is so luxurious and the product is awesome. I bought the gold one and it's so pigmented and beautiful, I love it! I can't wait to try out some other make-up products from Marc Jacobs.

Sephora Color Adapt Gloss

This is a lip gloss that adapts to the pH of your lips to create a personalized pink color. It has a beautiful hot pink flat applicator and the gloss smells really nice. This lip gloss turn my lips to a very natural pink, that's more on the darker side. I love that it's very moisturizing, but it's a little bit sticky. Overall, I really enjoy using this gloss.

FRAGNANCE:

I bought two fragnances and bought both of them from the Helsinki Airport.

Victoria's Secret Bombshell Body Mist

I love this body mist so much, the scent is absolutely amazing. It's more on the sweeter side, but at the same time I feel like the scent is quite fresh. It's a body mist, so the scent doesn't really last very long. In the future I will definitely buy the original bombshell perfume.

Marc Jacobs Daisy Eau So Fresh

This is something that I've been wanting to buy for years, I love all the fragnances from Marc Jacobs, but this one is my favourite. This definitely has a fresh scent, as the name says. The bottle is so beautiful, I love the flowers on the cap of the bottle. And ofcourse I absolutely love the scent of this perfume. The scent lasts for a really long time, which is great.

That's it for this time, there wasn't too many products, but I am super happy with all of them, especially the fragnances.

Have you bought any new make-up or fragnances lately? Let me know in the comments below.

EMPTIES #1

Hi everyone!

It's empties time! Today I decided to share my opinion on some of the products I've used up recently. I will be mostly talking about skin care and hair care products, there are also some make-up products I've used up. So, let's get started!

SKIN CARE:

Nivea Pure&Natural Body Milk

I really enjoyed using this body milk. It's for very dry skin, so it's really moisturising. It sinks into the skin quite fast and doesn't make your skin feel sticky or anything like that. It's also good for your skin, because 95% of the ingredients are natural. The only thing I didn't like about this body milk was the smell. I has a quite fresh scent, which I usually like, but it's really strong and kind of unpleasant for me. I would definitely buy this body milk again, but in a different scent.

Hawaiian Tropic After Sun Moisturising Lotion

This was a great daily moisturiser for summer. It contains vitamin E and Aloe Vera, which makes this lotion moisturising and soothing. It doesn't really help if you're sunburned, but generally it helps your tan to last longer. This lotion smells really nice, I don't reallt know how to describe this scent, but it reminds me of summer and beach. I will problably buy this again next spring.

The Body Shop Mango Hand Cream
I absolutely love almost every product I've ever purcahsed from The Body Shop and same goes with this hand cream. Firstly, the smell is fantastic, obviously it smells like mangos, I like that the smell isn't too sweet, like some products with mangos are. This hand cream wasn't too thick, but it was very moisturising and it absorbed into the skin very quickly. This hand cream was quite small(30ml), so it was great for keeping it in my handbag. I also really love the packaging, I think it's very beautiful, but also it's very easy to squeeze every last drop of the product out. This is a product I would recommend to everyone, because they have it in many other scents, so everybody will find a scent that they love.

The Body Shop Mango Lip Butter

I didn't like this lip butter at all, I forced myself to use it all up. First of all, the scent was way too sweet, when I smelled it at the store I loved it, but when I started using it, it really started to bother me. The scent aside, I also didn't like the lip butter itself. The texture was very thick so it was quite hard to get it out with your finger and when I put it on my lips it didn't sink into my lips at all, it just left a layer of the product on my lips. I definitely wouldn't repurchase it.

Madara Deep Moisture Gel

This is one of the best face gels I've ever tried. It's quite hydrating, but at the same time it doesn't leave your skin feeling oily. It dries up on your face very quickly, so it's great to use it in the morning and at night. I love the fact, that it comes with a pump, that makes it very easy and comfortable to use. I also really like the scent, it kind of smells like cucumbers, but it's a little bit sweeter. I would highly recommend this face gel, if you have combination or oily skin.

Oriflame Love Nature Eye Gel

This was a very nice eye gel. It's for combination skin and it's with aloe vera. It's a small tube, but it lasted me for ages(I used it every night), it's quite hydrating so you only need to use a small amount at once. I really enjoyed the fact that it doesn't have a scent. It was quite inexpensive, so if you're on a budget, I would recommend this.

JOIK Gentle Eye Makeup Remover Oil With Calming Chamomile

This is a 100% natural cosmetics brand from Estonia, they also make candles, which are very nice. Unfortunately, I did not like this make-up remover oil at all. It removed the make-up quite well, but it left a layer of oil onto my skin and it was really hard to wash the oil out. I would definitely not recommend this product, but I do recommend their candles, because they have an amazing scent and they burn very evenly!

HAIR CARE PRODUCTS:

Aussie 3 Minute Miracle Reconstructor
This is a deep conditioner for damaged hair. I really liked this product, although I didn't find it very intensely moisturising. I excpected it to be thick like hair masks, but it wasn't. In fact my normal conditioners are thicker than this was. Overall I really liked it as a daily conditioner but I wouldn't repurchase it again.

Wella Thermal Image

I was looking for a heat protection spray, that I could use on dry hair and this was the only one I found and I LOVE IT! So, I don't usually blowdry my hair, I go to sleep with wet hair and then sometimes starighten or curl my hair in the morning. I don't want to damage my hair so I always use a heat protection spray and I don't find that it works very well, if I spray heat protection into damp hair in the evening and for example straighten my hair in the morning. Considering this, the Wella heat protection spray is perfect for me and I highly recommend it!

Batiste Dry Shampoo Dark&Deep Brown

Dry shampoo is a lifesaver for me, because I have very dry hair, so I don't want to wash my hair too often. If I see in the morning that my hair has gone a little bit greasy, then I just spray this into the roots of my hair, massage it in and my hair really looks a lot cleaner. I've tried different dry shampoos, but the Batiste ones work the best for my hair. I use the one with a hint of color, because I have dark hair. I think that this is already the sixth bottle I've used up and I have already bought a new one.

MAKE-UP:

Maybelline Lash Sensational Mascara

I've never had to be disappointed in any of the Maybelline's mascaras I've bought and I didn't have to be disappointed in this one either. I fell in love with this mascara, it works very well for me. Starting with the fact that it has a silicone brush, which I always love. This mascara doesn't smudge, even if I accidentally rub my eyes. It lengthens and volumizes my eyelashes. I will definitely purchase this mascara again.

Maybelline Fit Me Concealer

This is a very nice concealer and I have already bought a new one. The coverage is very nice and the product is very creamy. A lot of people say, that it's a great dupe for the Nars Creamy Concealer, which everybody loves. The only bad thing about this concealer is the fact that you can't get all the product out of the packaging.

Maybelline Instant Age Rewind Concealer

I've talked about this concealer in all of my blog posts, I think that shows how much I love it. I love the soft applicator, I love the product itself, I love that you can get all of the product out from the packaging. I love everything about this concealer and I would recommend it to everybody.

That's it for this time. I hope you enjoyed seeing my empties and reading my thoughts about these products.

Let me know what you would like to read about in the next blog post.
