SEPHORA HAUL

Hi everybody!

When I was in Rome, I also visited Sephora and bought a few things from there. There are also some products that I didn't buy from Sephora, but I thought I would add them here anyway. Most of these products have already become my favourites. Anyway, onto my purchases.

SKIN-CARE:

Sephora Moisturizing Hand Cream in Lagoon, Monoi and Mango

I love these hand creams, I bought one from France last year and regretted not buying more. These hand creams are so moisturizing, but they don't feel your hands feeling greasy. They absorb very quickly and smell absolutely amazing! This time I bought three of these. Lagoon has a very fresh scent and monoi and mango have quite a sweet scent.

Sephora Creamy Body Wash in Lagoon and Monoi

These body washes are great, because they don't dry out the skin, like some other body washes. And most importantly they smell so good!

MAKE-UP

The Beauty Blender Sponge

I finally got my hands on the famous Beauty Blender. It makes applying foundation and concealer so easy. It gives kind of an airbrushed finish and doesn't leave your foundation cakey. Before, I used the Real Techniques sponge, which is a good dupe for the Beauty Blender if you're on a budget, but I would recommend buying the Beauty Blender for a few simple reasons. The Beauty Blender is smaller, so it's easier to apply foundation to your under-eye area. Also, I've used my Real Techniques sponge for about two months and it's already broken. So, if you're someone who uses foundation or concealer daily, I would recommend buying the original Beauty Blender.

L'Occitane Sublime Beauty Cream

This is one of the products that I didn't buy from Sephora. I bought this before going to Rome, simply because it has SPF30. I was looking for a foundation or bb cream that would have SPF 30 and this is the only one that I could find. Fortunately, this is a great bb cream, it dries to matte finish, so I don't even have to put any powder on top of it. It also smells nice and is very easy to blend with your fingers.

Too Faced Dark Chocolate Soleil Bronzer

First of all, how amazing is the fact that this bronzer smells like chocolate?! The packaging is so beautiful and the product inside is amazing. This bronzer is so pigmented, you only need a little bit when applying it. This is definitely the best bronzer I've ever used, I highly recommend it!

Too Faced Better Than Sex Mascara

I've heard so many people talking about how great this mascara is, so I decided to try it. I have to say that I really like it, it makes my eyelashes very voluminous. I wouldn't recommend this to people who have very oily skin, because it smudges quite easily.

Benefit Erase Paste

I bought this, because I needed a full coverage concealer. This concealer is thick and sticky, so it covers practically anything. Because it's so thick, you have to use the tiniest amount on blemishes. The only downside to this product is that it only comes in three shades. I bought the lightest one and it's still a little bit darker, than I would have wanted. But overall I love this product.

There was a very friendly woman at the Benefit counter, who gave me a free sample of the Benefit Lollibalm. It's a tinted hydrating lip balm, I've tried it once and I really liked it, but I problably won't purchase it in full size.

Marc Jacobs Twinkle Pop in Volver

I really wanted to try something from Marc Jacobs cosmetics and decided to try the Twinkle Pop. It's basically an eyeshadow stick. The packaging is so luxurious and the product is awesome. I bought the gold one and it's so pigmented and beautiful, I love it! I can't wait to try out some other make-up products from Marc Jacobs.

Sephora Color Adapt Gloss

This is a lip gloss that adapts to the pH of your lips to create a personalized pink color. It has a beautiful hot pink flat applicator and the gloss smells really nice. This lip gloss turn my lips to a very natural pink, that's more on the darker side. I love that it's very moisturizing, but it's a little bit sticky. Overall, I really enjoy using this gloss.

FRAGNANCE:

I bought two fragnances and bought both of them from the Helsinki Airport.

Victoria's Secret Bombshell Body Mist

I love this body mist so much, the scent is absolutely amazing. It's more on the sweeter side, but at the same time I feel like the scent is quite fresh. It's a body mist, so the scent doesn't really last very long. In the future I will definitely buy the original bombshell perfume.

Marc Jacobs Daisy Eau So Fresh

This is something that I've been wanting to buy for years, I love all the fragnances from Marc Jacobs, but this one is my favourite. This definitely has a fresh scent, as the name says. The bottle is so beautiful, I love the flowers on the cap of the bottle. And ofcourse I absolutely love the scent of this perfume. The scent lasts for a really long time, which is great.

That's it for this time, there wasn't too many products, but I am super happy with all of them, especially the fragnances.

Have you bought any new make-up or fragnances lately? Let me know in the comments below.

EMPTIES #1

Hi everyone!

It's empties time! Today I decided to share my opinion on some of the products I've used up recently. I will be mostly talking about skin care and hair care products, there are also some make-up products I've used up. So, let's get started!

SKIN CARE:

Nivea Pure&Natural Body Milk

I really enjoyed using this body milk. It's for very dry skin, so it's really moisturising. It sinks into the skin quite fast and doesn't make your skin feel sticky or anything like that. It's also good for your skin, because 95% of the ingredients are natural. The only thing I didn't like about this body milk was the smell. I has a quite fresh scent, which I usually like, but it's really strong and kind of unpleasant for me. I would definitely buy this body milk again, but in a different scent.

Hawaiian Tropic After Sun Moisturising Lotion

This was a great daily moisturiser for summer. It contains vitamin E and Aloe Vera, which makes this lotion moisturising and soothing. It doesn't really help if you're sunburned, but generally it helps your tan to last longer. This lotion smells really nice, I don't reallt know how to describe this scent, but it reminds me of summer and beach. I will problably buy this again next spring.

The Body Shop Mango Hand Cream
I absolutely love almost every product I've ever purcahsed from The Body Shop and same goes with this hand cream. Firstly, the smell is fantastic, obviously it smells like mangos, I like that the smell isn't too sweet, like some products with mangos are. This hand cream wasn't too thick, but it was very moisturising and it absorbed into the skin very quickly. This hand cream was quite small(30ml), so it was great for keeping it in my handbag. I also really love the packaging, I think it's very beautiful, but also it's very easy to squeeze every last drop of the product out. This is a product I would recommend to everyone, because they have it in many other scents, so everybody will find a scent that they love.

The Body Shop Mango Lip Butter

I didn't like this lip butter at all, I forced myself to use it all up. First of all, the scent was way too sweet, when I smelled it at the store I loved it, but when I started using it, it really started to bother me. The scent aside, I also didn't like the lip butter itself. The texture was very thick so it was quite hard to get it out with your finger and when I put it on my lips it didn't sink into my lips at all, it just left a layer of the product on my lips. I definitely wouldn't repurchase it.

Madara Deep Moisture Gel

This is one of the best face gels I've ever tried. It's quite hydrating, but at the same time it doesn't leave your skin feeling oily. It dries up on your face very quickly, so it's great to use it in the morning and at night. I love the fact, that it comes with a pump, that makes it very easy and comfortable to use. I also really like the scent, it kind of smells like cucumbers, but it's a little bit sweeter. I would highly recommend this face gel, if you have combination or oily skin.

Oriflame Love Nature Eye Gel

This was a very nice eye gel. It's for combination skin and it's with aloe vera. It's a small tube, but it lasted me for ages(I used it every night), it's quite hydrating so you only need to use a small amount at once. I really enjoyed the fact that it doesn't have a scent. It was quite inexpensive, so if you're on a budget, I would recommend this.

JOIK Gentle Eye Makeup Remover Oil With Calming Chamomile

This is a 100% natural cosmetics brand from Estonia, they also make candles, which are very nice. Unfortunately, I did not like this make-up remover oil at all. It removed the make-up quite well, but it left a layer of oil onto my skin and it was really hard to wash the oil out. I would definitely not recommend this product, but I do recommend their candles, because they have an amazing scent and they burn very evenly!

HAIR CARE PRODUCTS:

Aussie 3 Minute Miracle Reconstructor
This is a deep conditioner for damaged hair. I really liked this product, although I didn't find it very intensely moisturising. I excpected it to be thick like hair masks, but it wasn't. In fact my normal conditioners are thicker than this was. Overall I really liked it as a daily conditioner but I wouldn't repurchase it again.

Wella Thermal Image

I was looking for a heat protection spray, that I could use on dry hair and this was the only one I found and I LOVE IT! So, I don't usually blowdry my hair, I go to sleep with wet hair and then sometimes starighten or curl my hair in the morning. I don't want to damage my hair so I always use a heat protection spray and I don't find that it works very well, if I spray heat protection into damp hair in the evening and for example straighten my hair in the morning. Considering this, the Wella heat protection spray is perfect for me and I highly recommend it!

Batiste Dry Shampoo Dark&Deep Brown

Dry shampoo is a lifesaver for me, because I have very dry hair, so I don't want to wash my hair too often. If I see in the morning that my hair has gone a little bit greasy, then I just spray this into the roots of my hair, massage it in and my hair really looks a lot cleaner. I've tried different dry shampoos, but the Batiste ones work the best for my hair. I use the one with a hint of color, because I have dark hair. I think that this is already the sixth bottle I've used up and I have already bought a new one.

MAKE-UP:

Maybelline Lash Sensational Mascara

I've never had to be disappointed in any of the Maybelline's mascaras I've bought and I didn't have to be disappointed in this one either. I fell in love with this mascara, it works very well for me. Starting with the fact that it has a silicone brush, which I always love. This mascara doesn't smudge, even if I accidentally rub my eyes. It lengthens and volumizes my eyelashes. I will definitely purchase this mascara again.

Maybelline Fit Me Concealer

This is a very nice concealer and I have already bought a new one. The coverage is very nice and the product is very creamy. A lot of people say, that it's a great dupe for the Nars Creamy Concealer, which everybody loves. The only bad thing about this concealer is the fact that you can't get all the product out of the packaging.

Maybelline Instant Age Rewind Concealer

I've talked about this concealer in all of my blog posts, I think that shows how much I love it. I love the soft applicator, I love the product itself, I love that you can get all of the product out from the packaging. I love everything about this concealer and I would recommend it to everybody.

That's it for this time. I hope you enjoyed seeing my empties and reading my thoughts about these products.

Let me know what you would like to read about in the next blog post.
